Team Talk Delivery
Speaking on front of groups makes many people uncomfortable - unless there
is a structure and a process and people know how to do it. And preparation
is essential. Team Talk training equips managers and team leaders with the
structure and guidelines for managers to present to their teams confidently
and competently. In other words: "what to say. . . and how to say it,
in your own words" Its not difficult when you know how and you can practice
in a non-threatening environment.
Section 3
Team Talk Content
Ensuring Team Talk is relevant and interesting is a key factor in its continuing
success. What to talk about, how should Team Talk be written, communication
templates and models are the focus of this section along with many useful
and practical tips for making it work.
Section 2
The Team Talk Structure and Process
What is Team Talk; who does it; to whom; when; and what to talk about and how long, are all aspects of the Team Talk structure and process. Other points include: what is the Team Talk structure and how does it link in with the organisational structure; All of these points and more are covered in this section.
Section 1
Communication within Organisations
Providing a forum for managers to communicate key information to employees is essential unless you want the grapevine to be the main communication channel in your organisation. In this section we focus on understanding managements role in the communication process and enhance ones understanding of the benefits of effective communication within organisations.
Section 5
Measuring Team Talk Effectiveness
MBWA* - a clichéd term? - but nonetheless still very effective. The best way to ensure that Team Talk is a continuing success is to monitor its effectiveness - by talking to people. Of course there needs to be a structure and a process for this to be effective - this section addresses this and other factors that will enhance the success of Team Talk in your organisation.
[ * MBWA = management by walking around]
