Team Talk consists of 5 main sections
[pass cursor over each section for brief summary]

Team Talk™
Employees want face-to-face, verbal with their immediate manager or team leader and they want to know what is relevant, accurate, and about their own work area.

Managers and team leaders who communicate directly [and face-to-face] with their teams, and effectively [providing opportunity for feedback] are more successful in achieving cost-effective benefits for their organisations that those who don't . . .

Team Talk™ has been designed to meet the communication needs of employees at all levels and to minimise the "filtering" effect that often takes place when information is communicated within an organisation. People trust information from the right sources if it is reliable, accurate and regular.

The 5 Team Talk™ sections are outlined in the above diagram.

Team Talk™ is a straightforward, logical process that is supported by a paint-by-numbers framework and many useful templates. Effective implementation of Team Talk™ should result in productivity gains, improved morale and a happier, more committed workforce.

Licenced users of Team Talk™ receive:

The Team Talk™ Kit including a range of supporting materials and templates:

  • Sample communication policy statements
  • Communication formats
  • Communication guidelines
  • Communication accountability charts
  • Sample Team Talks
  • System documentation
  • And more . . .

A one-day, highly participative Action Training Workshop in the use of the system. Training is in small groups to maximise learning.

Participants will automatically receive our bi-monthly newsletter, PDSL People Planet™, which provides useful HR tips, reports on new developments, success stories, topical articles, PDSL initiatives, and so on.

For our standard public programmes the investment required for introducing Team Talk™ into your organisation is $995 (plus GST) for the initial trainee/user and $795 (plus GST) for subsequent trainees/users from the same business unit

As most, if not all, managers and team leaders within an organisation would benefit from attending the Team Talk™ Action Workshop, PDSL can implement the programme in-house in your organisation.

Effective employee communications can deliver outstanding benefits to most organisations including increased profitability, and greater levels of commitment. Importantly, particularly in the new era of the Employment Relations Act and the need for greater levels of consultation with employees and their representatives, Team Talk™ provides a valuable mechanism for enabling effective consultation.
