5 stages of Welcoming People
[pass cursor over title for brief details]

About Welcoming People
Studies show that new employees' often makes up their minds about their future with an organisation within the first 3 weeks of employment. How an employee is welcomed into an organisation, therefore, is critical for their long-term commitment.

Welcoming People™ facilitates an employee's successful introduction into the workplace. As with other PDSL programmes, Welcoming People™ is a simple, structured, user-friendly process that managers and team leaders can use with confidence.

The 5 stages of Welcoming people™ are outlined in the above diagram.

A new employee's induction doesn't just begin on the day they start work - it really begins the moment a position is advertised. A potential candidate forms an image of the company from the initial advertisement, and more importantly, from the way they are treated throughout the recruitment process.

Welcoming People™ shows you how to plan and implement new employee inductions into your organisation.

Licenced users of Welcoming People™ receive:

The Welcoming People™ Kit
including an extensive range of support materials such as:

  • Induction plan
  • System documentation
  • Communication templates
  • Flowcharts and checklists
  • Guidelines
  • Case studies and readings
  • And more . . .
