recruitment and selection kit

Selecting People™ consists of four main stages:
[pass cursor over each stage for brief summary]

About Selecting People
People are the key to any business. Hence recruiting the right people to suit your organisation is crucial. The recruitment process can be costly but the costs of a bad recruitment decision can be far heavier. Check out our Recruitment Cost Estimator to get an idea of these costs.

Selecting People™ is a practical, user-friendly, structured recruitment and selection process, provided as a comprehensive 'kit'. The system unravels the mysteries often associated with good recruitment, providing users with all the tools to make well-informed selection decisions.

Selecting People™ consists of four main stages as outlined in the above diagram, along with a legal considerations section.

The interviewing component of Selecting People™ is based on structured, psychologically-based, behavioural interviewing. It uses the simple, but powerful interviewing technique known as Hocus Focus™. It enables managers and Team Leaders to interview with confidence and ease, but perhaps most importantly, it helps take the "gut feel" out of the recruitment and selection process

Its easy to use and we know you will take to Selecting People™ like a duck to water.

The Selecting People™ Kit - What you get

The Kit consists of:

An informative, well-designed 180+ page recruitment & selection Guide; a Toolkit of 38 essential tools - forms, checklists, interview questions, testing and assessment guidelines, job profile formats, decision grids, sample letters amd much more; and a step-by-step RoadMap for guiding you easily through the process.

The Guide and Toolkit are presented in two fully tabbed binders, with the Toolkit also provided in CD form for the printing of checklists and forms etc.

Our pricing represents exceptional value . . . and you'll get a lot of change out of your first recruitment assignment, if you'd used a recruitment agency.

Plus you'll be invited to subscribe to Selecting People Insights, a free newsletter made up of invaluable recruitment & selection tips, emailed to you monthly.

Selecting People training is also available for those who wish to further develop their recruitment and selection skills. See our Training pages

PDSL also customises Selecting People™ to suit individual organisations.

When you consider the cost of appointing, even the most junior employee through a recruitment consultancy. eg a junior clerk on, say $25000 per annum is likely to cost at least $2500 [10% of their annual salary] plus advertising costs, Selecting People is a far more cost-effective option.

The best way to find out more is to see for yourself. For those in the Auckland area we'll be happy to demonstrate the Kit to you, at your office, and show you how easy it is to make it work for you from day one. No obligation, or hard sell . . . just a quick demonstration by an HR professional.

If you wish to discuss any of Selecting People please phone us on (09) 5758321 or e-mail us at contactus@pdsl.co.nz. You can also reach us through our Contact Us page.

You don't have to be an expert to use PDSL Systems and Solutions like an expert.
