About Developing People
Developing People™ is a powerful, but simple system designed to assist managers, team leaders and their staff to work together to determine individuals' strengths and development needs and to prepare individual personal development plans.

The 4 key steps to the Developing People™ process are outlined in the above diagram.

An important aspect of the Developing People™ process is the interaction between the manager/team leader and the staff member.

Developing People™ shows managers how to identify and build upon their staff's skills and competencies within a positive , motivating framework

Developing People™ is not "done to people" by a manager . . . it is a structured process involving both parties. Nor is it simply conducted and then shelved for 6 or 12 months. On-going feedback and regular follow-up sessions are just as important to the success of the programme as the formal Developing People™ discussion itself. The success of Developing People™ depends on managers and team members working together to identify and address the individual's development needs.
